Ecotricity Business has become an ancillary member of the Utilities Intermediaries Association (UIA); a partnership built on shared values of transparency, expertise and a genuine commitment to raising standards across the energy market.
The UIA represents Third Party Intermediaries (TPI) - its members who are the energy brokers and consultants who play an essential role in helping businesses navigate the energy market.
We've always believed that the transition to green energy is something we do together. That is why, as the market evolves, we're keen to work alongside TPIs to accelerate the transition to renewable energy across Britain.
Through this membership, we will be an active presence within the UIA community as a collaborative voice in the conversations that shape the industry.
What our partnership with the UIA includes
Through the broad-reaching partnership, we will:
Strengthen thought leadership by joining the UIA for a webinar led by Cornwall Insight, covering TPI regulation and the current energy market landscape (16 April, 2:00pm)
Deliver expert insight through quarterly newsletters and contributions to UIA member communications
Showcase our products and solutions to the UIA’s member network to help them maximise the green opportunity
Share the UIA’s valuable market intelligence and industry insights, helping inform our TPI partners in a rapidly evolving market
True TPI collaboration
We know the energy market can feel crowded, and we know that suppliers can start to blur into one another. However, we believe we stand out because every unit of energy we supply is part of a genuine effort to build a greener Britain.
For TPIs, that difference matters. It means they can advise the businesses of Britain with confidence that our green credentials are real and verified. That means transparent pricing, ethical standards, and a supplier that won't put reputation at risk.
We don't see our TPI partners as a route to market. We see them as collaborators in something bigger, and this UIA membership is our commitment to showing up for that collaboration, consistently and with substance.
