Ecotricity is the new supplier for albert’s Creative Energy Scheme.*
albert is the leading screen industry organisation for environmental sustainability who offer online tools, training, events, practical guidance and thought leadership to all screen industry professionals, with the aim of helping them to identify and act upon opportunities on and off screen that will lead to effective climate action.
From keeping the lights on in the studio to making sure the kettle works in the post-production house – energy is the lifeblood of every production. But balancing reliance on power with the need to make sustainable choices can be challenging.
That’s why the Creative Energy Scheme has been helping screen industries reduce their carbon footprint for a number of years.
The arts and creative sectors have a huge capacity not just to prompt change, but through demonstration of ethics and values actually show there’s ‘another way’!
Where you buy your energy from is a crucial part of your journey to net zero. That’s why our partnership with albert has been developed to work in close collaboration with screen industries across the UK, providing renewable energy at an affordable rate through the albert Creative Energy Scheme.
